A BIT ABOUT ME.....

Around May 2002, I attended my first astrology course run by Molly Talbot, run out of the Northern Beaches Community College in Sydney, Australia. From those first lessons, I experienced something akin to re-engaging with a language that I hadĀ  earlier known and had previously been fluent with.

Since an early age, I have always been sensitive to discerning other people's energies. And as I could never really fathom why different people, of varying ages, gender or nationality would remind me of others that I would recognise with the same vibe, it wasn't till I started learning about Astrology, that I began to find the words to describe these experiences and energies.

For the next nine years, whilst living in Sydney I regularly attended the monthly Sydney Astrological Research Society, as well as the localĀ Federation of Australian Astrologers meetings. At these meetings and also at conferences around Australia, I deepened my knowledge and appreciation of the Arte. For a number of years (2010-2016) I also acted as host within the Forum at the bi-annual Breaking Down the Borders online conference, hosted by the International Academy of Astrology. It was only after moving to Bega (situated on the far south coast of New South Wales) in 2011, primarily to live at Bend, that I have since furthered my astrological studies with Sagari.

My interest in Horary stemmed from a visit John Frawley made all the way down to Australia, around 2006. This opportunity widened my application of the Craft and initiated my interest in Traditional Astrology, which has only deepened since. I also have deep gratitude for Dr. Benjamin Dykes, whose excellent translation of Bonatti in 2007 and other manuscripts, have proved to be both comprehensive and thorough. I would also consider the service to the astrological community that Deb Houlding, Wade Caves and others, at the School of Traditional Astrology have achieved, to be commendable.
